Unscripted Love

I found true love...again!

Matt and I adopted a puppy!

We have been searching for a male pup for quite some time.  It has been on my Christmas "wish list" for months now and on Sunday morning, we were in luck.  A breeder about 4 1/2 hours away got back to us and said she had two pups available.

So we immediately jumped in the car at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning, drove to Petsmart, hit up the ATM and started off on a roadtrip.  After a long journey to Lamar, MO, we were greeted by Chance and Ceaser, two adorable Goldendoodle male puppies.  And after an even harder decision, we chose Chance, the more "chill" of the two and of course, the largest puppy of the litter.  At 9 weeks old, he's already 15.6 lbs!  Which is five pounds larger than his baby brother.

Our Norman, as we have decided to call him, is such a gentle, sweetheart.  Not only has he slept through the night, but he very rarely goes to the bathroom in the house and is learning commands quickly.

Here are some pictures of Norman!  There will be many more posts to come on the new love of my life.  (insert sigh)

Our family!

And of course, we can't forget about Uncle Cooper!

A Flaw?

Women have strengths that amaze men...

They bear hardships and they carry burdens,

but they hold happiness, love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.

They cry when they are happy

and laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in...

They stand up to injustice.

They don't take "no" for an answer

when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without so their family can have.

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.

They cry when their children excel

and cheer when their friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear about

a birth or a wedding.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.

They grieve at the loss of a family member,

yet they are strong when they

think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss

can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you

to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what

makes the world keep turning.

They bring joy, hope and love.

They have compassion and ideas.

They give moral support to their

family and friends.

Women have vital things to say

and everything to give.

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,

IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

Never forget how wonderful you are.  Happy Monday!
