George Clooney? In my neighborhood?

That's right! George will be filming his movie on my street for the rest of the week. I just called Matt to tell him...his response? "Maybe I'll invite him over." Well, Matt, I say that is a great idea. Please do. :-)

Expect Street Delays During Filming Of Movie

MAPLEWOOD, MO (KTVI-FOX2now.com) - If your travels take you to the Maplewood area any time this week, start early and expect delays. That's because Maplewood is going Hollywood as filming will be taking place Monday on the George Clooney flick, "Up In The Air," Many streets will be off limits for parking and others will be closed altogether.Beginning at 7:00am, Sutton Blvd will have no parking from Hazel to Elm on both sides of the street. These closures will take place every day until Friday, March 28. Also this Friday, traffic will be interrupted periodically at Flora and Sutton Blvd.Filming of the movie began March 2, and is expected to last until April 21.The movie is about a professional who specializes in "career transition counseling" looks to accomplish his two main goals in life: to accumulate 1 million frequent flier miles, and to land a job at a mysterious management company called Mythtech.
